Sustainability efforts at Draper Tools recognised by industry awards
4th May 2022

Draper Tools is thrilled to announce that it has made the shortlist for the 2022 DIY Week Awards in the Sustainability Initiative category. These prestigious annual awards recognise achievement and innovation from suppliers and retailers in the DIY, home improvement and garden industries.
Accountability and transparency
Sustainability is a journey and Draper Tools is holding
itself accountable with a new transparent
approach and an annual report documenting all of its efforts. It is this
approach that judges at the DIY Week Awards are recognising. Managing Director
Graham Wade explained more about the company’s commitment: “Sustainability for
Draper Tools is not about one single environmental initiative. It’s about all areas
of the business coming together and being accountable, with regular reporting
on our progress across all aspects of sustainability. From reducing plastics, reducing
carbon emissions and recycling, right through to supporting communities locally
and internationally – our sustainability initiative is our ongoing commitment
to transparency in all these areas and more.”
You can read all about our progress in areas such as recycling, reducing plastics and building for the future in our report and online.
The DIY Week Awards Ceremony
After previously being held virtually, the DIY Week Awards are being celebrated in person this year at the Tower Hotel, London, on 20 May. The awards are the highest acclaimed celebration of excellence in the home improvement industry, with a shortlist full of the stars of the industry.
Thank you & good luck!
Draper Tools would like to say good luck to all the entrants. It’s an honour to be featured on the shortlist alongside some fantastic organisations in the industry.
